Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 29 June 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Melu Kids World application and any related content (the "Service"). The Service is provided by Melu Kids World ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who can use the Service
Melu Kids World is designed for children aged 4–8 to use under the supervision of a parent or guardian. If you are agreeing to these Terms, you confirm that you are of legal age and have the authority to accept these Terms on behalf of any child who uses the Service.
2. The Service
Melu Kids World is a gentle puzzle-adventure app for young children. It runs entirely on your device. Game progress, unlocked content, and settings are stored locally on the device — we do not host accounts or store your progress on our servers.
3. Purchases and device-only unlocks
The Service offers optional one-time purchases ("Packs") that unlock additional characters and decorations. Each Pack is a single, one-time purchase — there are no subscriptions and nothing renews automatically.
Because Melu Kids World does not use accounts, purchases and unlocks are tied to the specific device on which they are made and are stored locally on that device. Purchases do not transfer between devices, and reinstalling the app or clearing the device's stored data may remove unlocked content. Please keep this in mind before making a purchase.
Payment, billing, tax, and refund mechanics are handled by our reseller, Paddle (see section 4). For the commercial terms of your purchase, please also refer to Paddle's Buyer Terms.
4. Reseller (Merchant of Record)
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:
- use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
- infringe our intellectual property rights or those of others;
- attempt to interfere with the security or integrity of the Service, including introducing malware, probing, or scraping; or
- reverse engineer, copy, resell, or redistribute the Service or its content except as permitted by law.
6. Intellectual property
We retain all ownership of the Service and its intellectual property, including the software, artwork, characters ("Melus"), branding, sounds, and documentation. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
7. Service availability and warranties
We work hard to keep Melu Kids World pleasant and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service where there is a material breach of these Terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes, subject to any mandatory rights you have as a consumer.
11. Contact
For questions about these Terms, please contact us through the support channels in the app. For order, billing, or refund matters, Paddle provides customer service via paddle.net.
